AgriTech
AgriTech Ireland is an industry-led cluster of companies, knowledge providers, government and community organisations whose goal is to accelerate sustainable growth of Ireland’s AgriTech industry through collaborative action.
The cluster supports AgriTech companies across Ireland by making connections between themselves, and key stakeholders across the ecosystem; researchers, educators, mentors, consultants, community groups and government supports; to enable access to the latest skills, knowledge, funding and technologies. We work together to unlock new opportunities and deliver growth in the AgriTech sector.
The AgriTech Cluster is working on several important initiatives; its programmes aim to optimise business processes and grow international sales while its services stimulate innovation projects and develop skills. The cluster is activity involved in research projects to support its members on topics such as Lean, value stream mapping, systems engineering, machine specification, mechanical design, software & controls development, digital farming, and internet of things.
AgriTech Ireland leverages considerable expertise accumulated in the IMaR Research Centre and across Munster Technological University (MTU), sharing knowledge to drive productivity and competitiveness, positioning Ireland at the forefront of the international AgriTech industry.
