Brief Biography:

After receiving my leaving cert from Tarbert comprehensive school in 2006 I began a plant fitter apprenticeship with Mc Hales Komatsu Ireland. However, due to the downturn in the construction industry the company ceased all recently started apprenticeships in 2007. In September 2007 I commenced a Construction Plant engineering course in the Institute of Technology Tralee, from which I obtained my Ordinary Bachelor degree in Construction Plant Engineering with distinction. Upon completion of this course I furthered my studies by completing a Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Agricultural Engineering Management. Having spent the last two years working as a design engineer for a farm and bio gas machinery manufacturer I have gained a good insight into the biogas industry, thus I am currently undertaking a Masters programme in this area in the ITT.
