The project will attempt to compare the existing heating systems against a proposed biomass driven district heating network using a life cycle costing approach. A comparison will also be made against the possibility of a natural gas network being introduced in Tralee. The project will evaluate all costs associated with installation, maintenance and running of all heating systems and include any socioeconomic benefits associated with each system.
