Dr. Bryan O’Regan is a Senior Research Engineer at the IMaR Technology Gateway research center, Munster Technological University Kerry. Bryan is working on Science Foundation Ireland funded programmes, researching machine learning techniques to support autonomous handling cranes. Bryan has over nine years of experience in research and development, spanning academia and industry, in sectors such as physics, photonics, mechanical and process engineering. Bryan is a UCC physics graduate and has an MSc in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Limerick and a PhD in physics from the University of St. Andrews, Scotland.
