Enterprise Ireland, in partnership with the Institutes of Technology, has established a nationwide network of 12 Technology Gateways which deliver technology solutions for Irish industry close to their market needs. The Gateways have a proven track record of working with industry and since 2008 along with their predecessors the AREs have completed >1,200 innovation based industry projects with over 600 Irish based companies.
At IMaR, I.T. Tralee, we engage with industry across Ireland to increase competitiveness in the area of Intelligent Mechatronics and RFID. We encourage you to talk with us so we can provide the best possible solution to meet your industrial needs. A number of service we provide include:

This industry showcase event is an opportunity for companies to network and discover how the 12 Technology Gateways can start your company on its innovation journey. Enterprise Ireland will provide information on available Innovation Supports to assist companies in research and development of a high impact collaborative projects.

Members of the IMaR team gave a short presentation at the
Kerry Technology User Group meeting on Tuesday evening which was focusing on the topic of the
Internet of Things. While it is alway good to get the word out about the current work and research projects within the centre, it was also a great opportunity to hear presentations from and have the opportunity to meet others currently working and studying in this area.
Kerry Technology User Group a group that meets every month to discuss all things technology. Our members are a mix of staff and students from the Institute of Technology, Tralee and individuals from the software industry.
The group have recently set up a new
Meetup group with which you can sign up for updates on future events or suggest/propose future topics.

The Institute of Technology, Tralee is living up to its aim to become a Technological Hub for the region in opening up the first
Open Device Lab (ODL) in Ireland. The Open Device Lab was officially launched during Tech Week, with Industry Reps from the ICT Industries attending talks, demos and tours of the facilities available.
The IMaR team were involved in the establishment of the lab which will allow the center to to inprove it devlopemtn and testing of mobile apps.
There are currently 111 Open Device Labs (ODLs) across 26 countries around the world. The Institute of Technology, Tralee is very proud to announce that it has established the very first one in Ireland.
